Why should I service my Aircon?

Aircon filters, coils, and fins require regular maintenance for the unit to function effectively and efficiently throughout its years of service. Neglecting necessary maintenance ensures a steady decline in air conditioning performance while energy use steadily increases. How often should I service my Aircon?
 
Generally, we recommend that residential aircon be serviced once every 3-4 months and every alternate month for commercial aircon. The frequency depends on the aircon usage pattern and other factors such as the condition of the environment. Please seek the assessment of our aircon specialist.  

What is Aircon chemical cleaning? When should I do it? 
 
Chemical cleaning is recommended for Aircon has not been cleaned for a long period of time or that is not helped by normal maintenance.
 
The deep cleaning that is delivered by chemical cleaning solves many problems that your aircon might be facing, and can prevent such problems from occurring in the future. To optimize the efficiency of Aircon unit, it is necessary to ensure that the cool air flows properly. Air vents and ducts that have been chemically cleaned are also free from dirt and moulds which means that the output of air not contaminated with harmful spores and allergens. Though you may spend more on chemical cleaning, the savings from the cost of air con repairs will outweigh the price of an occasional chemical cleaning.
